1.
I've been fashioning a spear From the stones you threw Filling my pockets with the gold of fools I've been catching my death of cold chipping the ice with ancient tools watching the sunlight fade from view Ooh If i'm an island Then you're the boat And I'm coming home I've been working hard See these marks across my palms But all these weapons are yours if you need them more Ooh If i'm an island Then you're the boat And I'm coming home You'll find me there You'll find me there Underneath the roses You're the one who rose this cross I bear

Come Alive 04:06
It's the virtue in her eyes That cages the lions in her mind When they close they come alive Blood runs deep through a clenched fist It takes the coldness from her touch It brings the colour to her blush There will be no sweetness to the taste When you choose to consume and not create If that is your goal let it swallow you whole When all your mirrors have been broken You will find no rose tint to the glass And a closed door to the past And if that is your goal let it swallow you whole When she closes her eyes they come alive You dealt with the demons she though you lost Laid waste to her reason and suffered the cost Now her smile is brighter than it ever was Guess you learnt the hard way of how to love

The water runs cold Down the hill And your daughter so old Lies still Do you know My heart beats slow For you Just trying to hold on These brakes are worn And these rails are gone Its been so long Since I've heard your voice The trail you left Has grown so clear And the waves you kept From Coming in Do you know These winds they blow Towards you Just trying to hold on These brakes are worn And these rails are gone Its been so long Since I've heard your voice
4.
You don't live so far From the edge So you don't work as hard For it The tunnels they go on but you stay scared We can walk these walls together you know I care Unaware to the beauty you saved me from We can walk these walls together but i know you're gone Could you be so sure Could you believe it all If I say We can leave tonight Chase our weakness together Brave the beasts and the weather We'll go on You don't fight for your cause So don't know what its like to fall The tunnels they go on but you stay scared We can walk these walls together you know I care Unaware to the beauty you saved me from We can walk these walls together but i know you're gone Could you be so sure Could you believe it all If I say We can leave tonight Chase our weakness together Brave the beasts and the weather We'll go on Catch me now I'm falling Could you be so sure Could you believe it all If I say We can leave tonight Chase our weakness together Brave the beasts and the weather We'll go on The tunnels they go on but you stay scared We can walk these walls together you know I care Unaware to the beauty you saved me from We can walk these walls together but i know you're gone

I'll be your hideout I'll be your stone I'll be the fires That guide you home Whats been lost Can be returned And whats forgotten Can still be taught And if you lead I will follow Dragged from the deep back to the shallows My clothes are wet my hands are numb But I'm closer to the shore Caught in the wreak the storm had won You must have heard my call I've been broken And I've been torn Lost to the ashes And so far gone But all these ties Can be resewn And what's left afloat Can still remain strong And if you lead I will follow Dragged from the deep back to the shallows My clothes are wet my hands are numb But I'm closer to the shore Caught in the wreak the storm had won You must have heard my call
